This Sunday, March 14 signs the Mother’s Day in England. On this occasion, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles shared two photos of their mothers on social networks.

This Sunday, March 14, 2021 is not a day like any other in England, because the British people celebrate Mother’s Day. If this year the context is special because of the health crisis, the British royal family still wanted to celebrate this beautiful day, as every year.

On their official Twitter account, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles wanted to wish their thousands of followers a beautiful Mother’s Day, as can be read in the caption of their publication.

To accompany their touching words, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall posted two photos of their respective mothers. In the first photo, Prince Charles can be seen joking with his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Mother and son were at the prestigious Highland Games in Braemar, a Scottish village in Aberdeenshire, in 2010. In the second photo, Camilla Parker Bowles can be seen posing with her mother at her home in 1990. The Duchess very rarely posts photos of her mother, Rosalind Cubbitt, who died in 1994.

The rest of the royal family also celebrates Mother’s Day

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles aren’t the only ones celebrating this Mother’s Day 2021. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis drew and wrote tender words in honor of their grandmother, Princess Diana.
