A man, who played the role of “big brother” to William and Harry after their mother’s death, is working to reconcile the two princes.
What if the rag no longer burns between Princes Harry and William? The two brothers, angry since the marriage of Meghan and Harry in May 2018, and even more so since the announcement of the Megxit, would have regained contact in recent weeks.
Strangely enough, the distance imposed by the coronavirus pandemic seems to bring them closer together. But a trusted man would also be working in the shadows to bring them closer together. That man is Mark Dyer.
Mark Dyer, a former Welsh Guard officer, is very close to William and Harry. He’s even Archie’s godfather. When Lady Diana passed away, Prince Charles asked him to play the role of big brother.
Which he did to perfection… He has a new mission now, to reconcile Harry and William… “It’s a huge task,” the Daily Mail points out, but it doesn’t seem to frighten Mark Dyer, who served in the army during the Northern Ireland conflict, at all. So he knows how to make peace.
“They both felt abandoned.”
Over the past few weeks, Mark Dyer has been trading a lot with Harry and William. In particular, he was able to make the Duke of Sussex understand that his older brother meant no harm to him or Meghan when he advised her to “take her time” at the beginning of their love affair.
“They both felt abandoned,” said a Daily Mail source. “But they realised what was at stake and that they were in danger of losing each other. They’re talking to each other now, but it will take time to really reconcile them.”
