Prince Charles and Ed Sheeran shocked by the sudden death of this British artist

A sudden death in the eyes of his friend Ed Sheeran, to whom he had wished him a happy birthday on his Instagram account a few days earlier, but also for Prince Charles. On his Instagram account, this Monday 21 February the heir to the British throne shared all his pain following the death of the artist. “I think of Jamal Edwards’ family today,” he said first, before continuing, “His work in music, but also as an ambassador for a new generation, including his work for The Prince’s Trust, has been an inspiration to many.”

His family is devastated

On the Loose Women Twitter account, his mother Brenda Edwards – a television host – shared a heartfelt speech in memory of her son. “It is with the deepest sorrow that I confirm that my beautiful child Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness,” she began. “Myself, his sister Tanisha and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated. He was the center of our world. As we come to terms with his passing, we want some privacy to grieve this unimaginable loss,” she then continued.

I want to thank everyone for their messages of love and support. Jamal was an inspiration to me and so many others. Our love for him lives on, his legacy remains first. Long live Jamal Edwards.”
