This Tuesday, April 21, Elizabeth II celebrates her 94th birthday. Although confined, Her Majesty has received several calls from family and friends wishing her a happy birthday, including a videoconference call, hoped for by Her Majesty, from Meghan Markle and Harry.
This Tuesday, April 21, Elizabeth II celebrates her 94th birthday. The Queen, like all Britons, is currently confined to Windsor with her husband, Prince Philip. She has spent the day alone with the man she fell in love with at first sight more than 70 years ago. Nevertheless, the whole family thought of her.
Meghan Markle and Harry, who moved to Los Angeles to get away from the royal family, but thought of the monarch when they made a videoconference call to wish her a very happy birthday, as their spokesperson said, which was relayed by Hello magazine and the DailyMail, among others.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were accompanied by Archie, who will celebrate his first birthday next month. Needless to say, this call from the entire small Sussex tribe exiled across the Atlantic warmed the heart of the Queen, who had little opportunity to see her great-grandson.
A WAY FOR THE COUPLE TO MAKE AMENDS TO THE QUEEN?
And yet, some sources claimed that Meghan Markle and Harry had literally spoiled the Queen’s birthday by continuing their open warfare with certain tabloids to whom they sent a letter this Sunday, April 19. “We were stunned. They didn’t take any of our advice,” the Queen’s relatives angrily pointed out, according to the Daily Mail. Fortunately, the couple seem to have made amends by proving to the Queen that she remained in their thoughts despite the distance.
